I’ve been writing since the day I dictated a story to my grandfather, who typed it at his Underwood typewriter one dusty afternoon. I’ve been sketching maps of fictional cities and constructing elaborate histories of chimerical societies since the day I learned what an RPG is. I was following my bliss long before I heard about Joseph Campbell.

I’m connoisseur of literary fantasy, role-playing games, mysticism, continental philosophy, New Age philosophy, New Age music, art cinema, film theory, and progressive rock. I hold a BA and MA in Film Studies from Carleton University, and an MFA in Filmmaking from USC.
