Expert Feedback on Screenplay and Prose
Send me a draft!
Whether you feel stuck, or you think it’s the greatest thing ever written, I can help. I will give you a new perspective (or three). I will deliver actionable, intelligent, industry-grade feedback. And above all, I will put my finger on the main thing holding this draft back from being the greatest thing ever written.
What I know best?
My specialties are: structure, character arcs, plot, dialogue, loglines, theme, and style. I have a unique approach to story, drawn from ancient mythology as much as contemporary writing guides.
What genres do I cover?
If you’ve seen my youtube videos then you know I love sci-fi and fantasy, but I know my way around just about every major genre. Send me your teen comedies, hard-boiled thrillers, post-apocalyptic rom-coms, mind/body horror, Neoplatonist musicals, Babylonian gangster films, Lovecraftian murder mysteries, Gnostic fairy tales, and dramas. I’m a fan of popcorn flicks but also an aficionado of modernist literature.
Bottom line: whatever you’re going for, I’ll greet your project on its own terms.
Why me?
I live and breathe story. I’ve given notes on over 1500 feature films and hundreds of TV pilots, short films, and short stories. I do this for a living—but I also live to do this.
